அதற்கு ஒலிவமரம்: தேவர்களும் மனுஷரும் புகழுகிற என்னிலுள்ள என்கொழுமையை நான் விட்டு, மரங்களை அரசாளப்போவேனோ என்றது.

ஆனால் ஒலிவமரம், ‘மனிதர்களும் தேவனும் எனது எண்ணெய்க்காக என்னைப் போற்றுகின்றனர். நான் எண்ணெய் தருவதை நிறுத்திவிட்டு பிற மரங்களை ஆளும்படி போக முடியுமா?’ என்றது.

⁽ஒலிவ மரம் அவற்றிடம், “எனது␢ எண்ணெயால் தெய்வங்களும்␢ மானிடரும் மதிப்புப் பெறுகின்றனர்.␢ அப்படியிருக்க அதை உற்பத்தி␢ செய்வதை நான் விட்டுக்கொடுத்து␢ மரங்களுக்கு மேல் அசைந்தாட␢ வருவேனா?” என்றது.⁾
