என்னிலுள்ள பராக்கிரமசாலிகளாகிய என்னுடையவர்களெல்லாரையும் ஆண்டவர் மிதித்துப்போட்டார்; என் வாலிபரை நொறுக்கும்படி எனக்கு விரோதமாய் ஒரு கூட்டத்தை வரவழைத்தார்; திராட்சப்பழத்தை ஆலையில் மிதிக்கிறதுபோல, ஆண்டவர் யூதா குமாரத்தியாகிய கன்னிகையை மிதித்தார்.

கர்த்தர் எனது பலமான படை வீரர்களை மறுத்துவிட்டார். அவ்வீரர்கள் நகரத்திற்குள்ளே இருந்தனர். பிறகு கர்த்தர் ஒரு ஜனக்குழுவை எனக்கு எதிராக கொண்டு வந்தார். என்னுடைய இளம் வீரர்களைக் கொல்வதற்காக அவர்களைக் கொண்டு வந்தார். கர்த்தர் ஆலைக்குள்ளே திராட்சைப் பழங்களை மிதிப்பதுபோல யூதா குமாரத்தியாகிய கன்னிகையை மிதித்தார்.
