ஆண்டவர் தப்பவிடாமல் யாக்கோபின் வாசஸ்தலங்களையெல்லாம் விழுங்கினார்; அவர் யூதா குமாரத்தியின் அரண்களையெல்லாம் தமது சினத்திலே இடித்து, தரையோடே தரையாக்கிப்போட்டார்; ராஜ்யத்தையும் அதின் பிரபுக்களையும் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கினார்.

ஆண்டவர் தப்பவிடாமல் யாக்கோபின் குடியிருப்புகளையெல்லாம் விழுங்கினார்; அவர், மகளாகிய யூதாவின் பாதுகாப்புகளையெல்லாம் தமது கோபத்திலே இடித்து, தரையோடே தரையாக்கிப்போட்டார்; இராஜ்ஜியத்தையும் அதின் தலைவர்களையும் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்கினார்.

கர்த்தர் யாக்கோபின் வீடுகளை அழித்தார். அவர் அவற்றை இரக்கமில்லாமல் அழித்தார். அவர் அவரது கோபத்தில் யூதா மகளின் கோட்டைகளை அழித்தார். கர்த்தர் யூதாவின் இராஜ்யத்தையும் அதன் அரசர்களையும் தரையில் தூக்கி எறிந்தார். அவர் யூதாவின் இராஜ்யத்தை அழித்தார்.
