அவர் சொல்ல ஆகும் அவர் கட்டளையிட நிற்கும்.

அந்தத்திலுள்ளவைகளை ஆதிமுதற்கொண்டும், இன்னும் செய்யப்படாதவைகளைப் பூர்வகாலமுதற்கொண்டும் அறிவிக்கிறேன்; என் ஆலோசனை நிலைநிற்கும், எனக்குச் சித்தமானவைகளையெல்லாம் செய்வேன் என்று சொல்லி,

மனுஷனுடைய இருதயம் அவனுடைய வழியை யோசிக்கும்; அவனுடைய நடைகளை உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறவரோ கர்த்தர்.

மனுஷனுடைய இருதயத்தின் எண்ணங்கள் அநேகம்; ஆனாலும் கர்த்தருடைய யோசனையே நிலைநிற்கும்.

கர்த்தருக்கு விரோதமான ஞானமுமில்லை, புத்தியுமில்லை, ஆலோசனையுமில்லை.

பூமியின் குடிகள் எல்லாம் ஒன்றுமில்லையென்று எண்ணப்படுகிறார்கள்; அவர் தமது சித்தத்தின்படியே வானத்தின் சேனையையும் பூமியின் குடிகளையும் நடத்துகிறார், அவருடைய கையைத் தடுத்து அவரை நோக்கி: என்ன செய்கிறீரென்று சொல்லத்தக்கவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை என்றேன்.

அவர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: எவன்மேல் இரக்கமாயிருக்கச் சித்தமாயிருப்பேனோ அவன்மேல் இரக்கமாயிருப்பேன், எவன்மேல் உருக்கமாயிருக்கச் சித்தமாயிருப்பேனோ அவன்மேல் உருக்கமாயிருப்பேன் என்றார்.

மேலும் கிறிஸ்துவின்மேல் முன்னே நம்பிக்கையாயிருந்த நாங்கள் அவருடைய மகிமைக்குப் புகழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு,

மேலும், நாங்கள் இன்றைக்கு அல்லது நாளைக்கு இன்ன பட்டணத்திற்குப் போய், அங்கே ஒருவருஷம் தங்கி, வியாபாரஞ்செய்து, சம்பாத்தியம்பண்ணுவோமென்கிறவர்களே, கேளுங்கள்.
