இணை வசனம்

உன் தலைக்குமேலுள்ள வானம் வெண்கலமும், உனக்குக் கீழுள்ள பூமி இரும்புமாய் இருக்கும்.

நீந்துகிறவன் நீந்துவதற்காகத் தன் கைகளை விரிப்பதுபோல, அவர் தமது கைகளை அவர்கள் நடுவிலே விரித்து, அவர்கள் பெருமையையும், அவர்கள் கைகளின் சதிசர்ப்பனைகளையும் தாழ்த்திவிடுவார்.

இப்படியே நான் யூதாவுடைய பெருமையையும், எருசலேமுடைய மிகுந்த பெருமையையும் கெட்டுப்போகப்பண்ணுவேன்.

மழைத்தாழ்ச்சியைக் குறித்து எரேமியவுக்கு உண்டான கர்த்தருடைய வசனம்:

ஜனங்கள் திரும்பப் பாளயத்துக்கு வந்தபோது, இஸ்ரவேலின் மூப்பரானவர்கள், இன்று கர்த்தர் பெலிஸ்தருக்கு முன்பாக நம்மை முறிய அடித்ததென்ன? சீலோவிலிருக்கிற கர்த்தருடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியைக் கொண்டுவருவோம்; அது நம்மை நம்முடைய பகைஞரின் கைக்கு விலக்கி ரட்சிக்கும்படி, நம்முடைய நடுவிலே வரவேண்டியது என்றார்கள்.

தேவனுடைய பெட்டி பிடிக்கப்பட்டது; ஏலியின் இரண்டு குமாரராகிய ஓப்னியும் பினெகாசும் மாண்டார்கள்.

கீலேயாத்தின் குடிகளிலே திஸ்பியனாகிய எலியா ஆகாபை நோக்கி: என் வாக்கின்படியே அன்றி இந்த வருஷங்களிலே பனியும் மழையும் பெய்யாதிருக்கும் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக நிற்கிற நான் அவருடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்றான்.

எல்லாம் தாழ்த்தப்படும்பொருட்டுச் சேனைகளுடைய கர்த்தரின் நாளானது பெருமையும் மேட்டிமையுமானவை எல்லாவற்றின்மேலும், உயர்ந்தவை எல்லாவற்றின்மேலும்,

அவர் உயரத்திலே வாசமாயிருக்கிறவர்களையும் கீழே தள்ளுகிறார், உயர்ந்த நகரத்தையும் தாழ்த்துகிறார்; அவர் தரைமட்டும் தாழ்த்தி அது மண்ணாகுமட்டும் இடியப்பண்ணுவார்.

ஆகையால் புறஜாதிகளின் துஷ்டர்களை வரப்பண்ணுவேன், அவர்கள் இவர்களுடைய வீடுகளைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வார்கள்; பலவான்களின் பெருமையை ஒழியப்பண்ணுவேன், அவர்கள் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலங்கள் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாகும்.

எகிப்தை ஆதரிக்கிறவர்களும் விழுவார்கள்; அதினுடைய பலத்தின் முக்கியமும் தாழ்ந்துபோம் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; அதிலே மிகதோல்முதல் செவெனேவரைக்கும் பட்டயத்தினால் விழுவார்களென்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

ஆகையால் நேபுகாத்நேச்சாராகிய நான் பரலோகத்தின் ராஜாவைப் புகழ்ந்து, உயர்த்தி மகிமைப்படுத்துகிறேன்; அவருடைய கிரியைகளெல்லாம் சத்தியமும், அவருடைய வழிகள் நியாயமுமானவைகள் அகந்தையாய் நடக்கிறவர்களைத் தாழ்த்த அவராலே ஆகும் என்று எழுதினான்.

எனக்கு விரோதமாய்த் துரோகம்பண்ணி, நீ செய்த உன் எல்லாக் கிரியைகளினிமித்தமும் அந்நாளிலே வெட்கப்படாதிருப்பாய்; அப்பொழுது நான் உன் பெருமையைக்குறித்துக் களிகூர்ந்தவர்களை உன் நடுவிலிருந்து விலக்கிவிடுவேன்; நீ இனி என் பரிசுத்த பர்வதத்தில் அகங்காரங்கொள்ளமாட்டாய்.

அன்றியும் எலியாவின் நாட்களிலே மூன்று வருஷமும் ஆறுமாதமும் வானம் அடைபட்டு, தேசமெங்கும் மிகுந்த பஞ்சம் உண்டாயிருந்தபோது, இஸ்ரவேலுக்குள் அநேகம் விதைவைகள் இருந்தார்கள்.
