ஒருவன் சமாதான பலியைப் படைக்கவேண்டுமென்று, மாட்டுமந்தையில் எடுத்துச் செலுத்துவானாகில், அது காளையானாலும் சரி, பசுவானாலும் சரி, பழுதற்றிருப்பதை கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் செலுத்தக்கடவன்.

“ஒருவன் சமாதானப் பலியைப் படைக்க விரும்பினால் அந்த மிருகம் காளையாகவோ, பசுவாகவோ இருக்கலாம். கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக படைக்கப்படுகிற அம்மிருகம் எவ்விதமான குறையுமற்றதாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

ஒருவரது நேர்ச்சை நல்லுறவுப் பலியாய் இருந்தால், அது அவரது மாட்டு மந்தையிலிருந்து எடுத்துச் செலுத்தப்படும். காளையாகவோ பசுவாகவோ இருந்தால், அவர் பழுதற்ற ஒன்றை ஆண்டவருக்கு முன்பாகக் கொண்டு வருவார்.
