அதின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, பலிபீடத்தின் பக்கத்தில் தெளித்து, மீதியான இரத்தத்தைப் பலிபீடத்தின் அடியிலே வடியவிடுவானாக; இது பாவநிவாரணபலி.

பாவப் பரிகாரப் பலியின் இரத்தத்தில் ஆசாரியன் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து பலிபீடத்தின் பக்கத்திலே தெளித்து, மீதி இரத்தத்தைப் பலிபீடத்தின் அடியிலே ஊற்றிவிடுவான். இதுவே பாவப்பரிகார பலி ஆகும்.

பாவம் போக்கும் பலியின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து பலிபீட ஓரங்களைச் சுற்றிலும் தெளித்து எஞ்சிய இரத்தத்தைப் பலிபீடத்தின் அடியில் வடியவிடவேண்டும். இது பாவம் போக்கும் பலி.
