இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் சமாதானபலிகளில் அசைவாட்டும் மார்க்கண்டத்தையும் ஏறெடுத்துப் படைக்கும் முன்னந்தொடையையும் நான் அவர்கள் கையில் வாங்கி, அவைகளை ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குள் நடக்கும் நித்திய கட்டளையாகக் கொடுத்தேன் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

(கர்த்தராகிய) நான் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களிடமிருந்து சமாதானப் பலிகளிலிருந்து வலது தொடையையும், அசைவாட்டும் பலியின் மார்க்கண்டத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொள்வேன். நான் அவற்றை ஆரோனுக்கும் அவனது மகன்களுக்கும் கொடுக்கிறேன். இஸ்ரவேலின் ஜனங்கள் இந்த விதிக்கு என்றென்றும் கீழ்ப்படிய வேண்டும்” என்று கூறினார்.

நல்லுறவுப் பலிகளில் ஆரத்திப் பலியாகிய நெஞ்சுக் கறியையும் பங்காகிய பின்னந்தொடையையும் நான் இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களிடமிருந்து எடுத்து குருவாகிய ஆரோனுக்கும் அவன் புதல்வருக்கும் கொடுத்துள்ளேன். இது இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களிடமிருந்து பெறும் நிலையான பங்காகும்” என்று சொல்.
