தேவனோ அவனை நோக்கி: மதிகேடனே, உன் ஆத்துமா உன்னிடத்திலிருந்து இந்த இராத்திரியிலே எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்படும், அப்பொழுது நீ சேகரித்தவைகள் யாருடையதாகும் என்றார்.

தேவன் அவனை நோக்கி: மூடனே, உன் ஆத்துமா உன்னிடத்திலிருந்து இந்த இராத்திரியிலே எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும், அப்பொழுது நீ சேகரித்தவைகள் யாருக்குச் சொந்தமாகும் என்றார்.

“ஆனால் தேவன் அவனை நோக்கி, ‘மூடனே! இன்று இரவில் நீ மரிப்பாய். உனக்காக வைத்துள்ள பொருட்கள் என்ன ஆகும்? அப்போது அப்பொருட்களைப் பெறுவது யார்?’ என்றார்.

ஆனால், கடவுள் அவனிடம், ‘அறிவிலியே, இன்றிரவே உன் உயிர் உன்னைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்துவிடும். அப்பொழுது நீ சேர்த்து வைத்தவை யாருடையவையாகும்?’ என்று கேட்டார்.
