பின்பு அவர் புறப்பட்டு, வழக்கத்தின்படியே ஒலிவமலைக்குப் போனார், அவருடைய சீஷரும் அவரோடே கூடப்போனார்கள்.

இயேசு பட்டணத்தை (எருசலேம்) விட்டு ஒலிவமலைக்குச் சென்றார். அவரது சீஷர்கள் அவரோடு சென்றார்கள். அங்கே சென்றபிறகு சீஷர்களிடம் இயேசு, “நீங்கள் சோதனைக்கு ஆளாகாதவண்ணம் பிரார்த்தனை செய்யுங்கள்” என்றார்.
