பின்பு அவர் அவர்களுடனேகூட இறங்கி, சமனான ஒரு இடத்தில் நின்றார். அங்கே அவருடைய சீஷரில் அநேகம்பேரும் அவருடைய உபதேசத்தைக் கேட்கும்படிக்கும், தங்கள் வியாதிகளினின்று குணமாக்கப்படும்படிக்கும், யூதேயாதேசத்துத் திசைகள் யாவற்றிலிருந்தும், எருசலேம் நகரத்திலிருந்தும், தீரு சீதோன் பட்டணங்கள் இருக்கிற கடலோரத்திலிருந்தும் வந்தவர்களாகிய திரளான ஜனங்களும் இருந்தார்கள்.

பின்பு அவர் அவர்களுடன் இறங்கி, சமமான ஒரு இடத்திலே நின்றார். அங்கே அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அநேகரும், அவருடைய உபதேசத்தைக் கேட்பதற்காகவும், தங்களுடைய வியாதிகளிலிருந்து குணமாக்கப்படுவதற்காகவும், யூதேயா மற்றும் எருசலேம் நகரங்களில் இருந்தும், தீரு சீதோன் பட்டணங்கள் இருக்கிற கடலோரத்தில் இருந்தும் அநேக மக்கள் வந்திருந்தார்கள்.

இயேசுவும் அவருடைய சீஷர்களும் மலையிலிருந்து இறங்கினர். இயேசு சமவெளியான இடத்தில் நின்றார். அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் கூட்டமாக அங்கே குழுமியிருந்தனர். மேலும் யூதேயா, எருசலேம் ஆகிய பகுதிகளிலிருந்தும், தீரு, சீதோன் ஆகிய கடலோரத்துப் பட்டணங்களிலிருந்தும் ஏராளமான மக்கள் அங்கு வந்திருந்தனர்.

இயேசு அவர்களுடன் இறங்கி வந்து சமவெளியான ஓரிடத்தில் நின்றார். பெருந்திரளான அவருடைய சீடர்களும் யூதேயா முழுவதிலிருந்தும் எருசலேமிலிருந்தும் தீர், சீதோன் கடற்கரைப் பகுதிகளிலிருந்தும் வந்த பெருந்திரளான மக்களும் அங்கே இருந்தார்கள்.
