இணை வசனம்

ஆயக்காரரும் ஞானஸ்நானம் பெறவந்து, அவனை நோக்கி: போதகரே, நாங்கள் என்ன செய்யவேண்டும் என்று கேட்டார்கள்.

ஆனாலும் ஞானமானது அதன் பிள்ளைகளெல்லாராலும் நீதியுள்ளதென்று ஒப்புக்கொள்ளப்படும் என்றார்.

அப்போழுது அதோனிபேசேக்: எழுபது ராஜாக்கள், கைகால்களின் பெருவிரல்கள் தறிக்கப்பட்டவர்களாய், என் மேஜையின்கீழ் விழுந்ததைப் பொறுக்கித் தின்றார்கள்; நான் எப்படிச் செய்தேனோ, அப்படியே தேவன் எனக்கும் செய்து சரிக்கட்டினார் என்றான். அவனை எருசலேமுக்குக் கொண்டுபோனார்கள்; அங்கே அவன் செத்துப்போனான்.

அப்பொழுது அவன்: அப்படியானால் நீங்கள் எந்த ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றீர்கள் என்றான். அதற்கு அவர்கள்: யோவான் கொடுத்த ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றோம் என்றார்கள்.

அப்படியாக்கமாட்டாது; நீர் உம்முடைய வசனங்களில் நீதிபரராய் விளங்கவும், உம்முடைய நியாயம் விசாரிக்கப்படும்போது வெற்றியடையவும் இப்படியாயிற்று என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, தேவனே சத்தியபரர் என்றும், எந்த மனுஷனும் பொய்யன் என்றும் சொல்வோமாக.

எப்படியென்றால், அவர்கள் தேவநீதியை அறியாமல், தங்கள் சுயநீதியை நிலைநிறுத்தத் தேடுகிறபடியால் தேவநீதிக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாதிருக்கிறார்கள்.
