நீ தரித்துக்கொள்கிற உன் மேல் சட்டையின் நான்கு ஓரங்களிலும் தொங்கல்களை உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

நீ உன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தரின் சத்தத்தைக் கவனமாய்க் கேட்டு, அவர் பார்வைக்குச் செம்மையானவைகளைச் செய்து, அவர் கட்டளைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, அவருடைய நியமங்கள் யாவையும் கைக்கொண்டால், நான் எகிப்தியருக்கு வரப்பண்ணின வியாதிகளில் ஒன்றையும் உனக்கு வரப்பண்ணேன்; நானே உன் பரிகாரியாகிய கர்த்தர் என்றாРύ.

இயேசு தமது கையை நீட்டி அவனைத்தொட்டு: எனக்குச் சித்தமுண்டு, சுத்தமாகு என்றார். உடனே குஷ்டரோகம் நீங்கி அவன் சுத்தமானான்.

இயேசு மனதுருகி, அவர்கள் கண்களைத் தொட்டார்; உடனே அவர்கள் பார்வையடைந்து, அவருக்குப் பின்சென்றார்கள்.

இயேசுவைக்குறித்துக் கேள்விப்பட்டு: நான் அவருடைய வஸ்திரங்களையாகிலும் தொட்டால் சொஸ்தமாவேன் என்று சொல்லி;

அல்லாமலும் அவர் பிரவேசித்த கிராமங்கள் பட்டணங்கள் நாடுகள் எவைகளோ, அவைகளின் சந்தைவெளிகளிலே வியாதிக்காரரை வைத்து, அவருடைய வஸ்திரத்தின் ஓரத்தையாகிலும் அவர்கள் தொடும்படி உத்தரவாகவேண்டும் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்; அவரைத் தொட்ட யாவரும் சொஸ்தமானார்கள்.

அவருடைய பாதங்களின் அருகே பின்னாக நின்று அழுதுகொண்டு, அவருடைய பாதங்களைத் தன் கண்ணீரினால் நனைத்து, தன் தலைமயிரினால் துடைத்து, அவருடைய பாதங்களை முத்தஞ்செய்து, பரிமளதைலத்தைப் பூசினாள்.

அவள்மேல் தமது கைகளை வைத்தார்; உடனே அவள் நிமிர்ந்து, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினாள்.

சொஸ்தமாக்கப்பட்டவன் அவர் இன்னாரென்று அறியவில்லை; அவ்விடத்தில் ஜனங்கள் கூட்டமாயிருந்தபடியினால் இயேசு விலகியிருந்தார்.

பிணியாளிகளைப் படுக்கைகளின் மேலும் கட்டில்களின்மேலும் கிடத்தி, நடந்துபோகையில் அவனுடைய நிழலாகிலும் அவர்களில் சிலர்மேல் படும்படிக்கு அவர்களை வெளியே வீதிகளில் கொண்டுவந்து வைத்தார்கள்.

அவனுடைய சரீரத்திலிருந்து உறுமால்களையும் கச்சைகளையும் கொண்டுவந்து, வியாதிக்காரர்மேல் போட வியாதிகள் அவர்களைவிட்டு நீங்கிப்போயின; பொல்லாத ஆவிகளும் அவர்களைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டன.
