உடனே அவர்களையும் அழைத்தார்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய செபெதேயுவைக் கூலியாட்களோடு படவிலே விட்டு அவருக்குப் பின்சென்றார்கள்.

அவர்களோடு அவர்களின் தந்தை செபெதேயுவும் அவனோடு வேலைபார்க்கும் சில மீனவர்களும் படகில் இருந்தனர். இயேசு அவர்களைக் கண்டதும் தம்மோடு வரும்படி அழைத்தார். அவர்கள் தம் தந்தையை விட்டுவிட்டு இயேசுவைப் பின் தொடர்ந்தனர்.
