மத்தேயு 14:15
சாயங்காலமானபோது, அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: இது வனாந்தரமான இடம், நேரமுமாயிற்று; ஜனங்கள் கிராமங்களுக்குப் போய்த் தங்களுக்குப் போஜனபதார்த்தங்களைக் கொள்ளும்படி அவர்களை அனுப்பிவிடவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்.

மாலைநேரமானபோது, அவருடைய சீடர்கள் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: இது வனாந்திரமான இடம், நேரமுமானது; மக்கள் கிராமங்களுக்குப்போய்த் தங்களுக்கு உணவு பதார்த்தங்களை வாங்கும்படி அவர்களை அனுப்பிவிடவேண்டும் என்றார்கள்.

அன்று பிற்பகல், இயேசுவின் சீஷர்கள் அவரிடம் வந்து, “மனிதர் யாரும் இங்கு வசிப்பதில்லை. மேலும் நேரமுமாகிவிட்டது. மக்களைத் திருப்பி அனுப்புங்கள். அப்பொழுதுதான் அவர்கள் தங்கள் ஊர்களுக்குச் சென்று உணவை வாங்க முடியும்” என்று சொன்னார்கள்.

மாலையானபோது, சீடர் அவரிடம் வந்து, “இவ்விடம் பாலைநிலம் ஆயிற்றே, நேரமும் ஆகிவிட்டது. ஊர்களுக்குச் சென்று தங்களுக்குத் தேவையான உணவு வாங்கிக்கொள்ள மக்கள் கூட்டத்தை அனுப்பிவிடும்” என்றனர்.
