தரியு அரசாண்ட இரண்டாம் வருஷம் எட்டாம் மாதத்திலே இத்தோவின் மகனான பெரகியாவின் குமாரனாகிய சகரியாவுக்கு உண்டான கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை:

ஆதியாகமம் 4:8

காயீன் தன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆபேலோடே பேசினான்; அவர்கள் வயல் வெளியில் இருக்கும் சமயத்தில், காயீன் தன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆபேலுக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்பி, அவனைக் கொலைசெய்தான்.
