நான் உங்களுக்கு இருளிலே சொல்லுகிறதை நீங்கள் வெளிச்சத்திலே சொல்லுங்கள்; காதிலே கேட்கிறதை நீங்கள் வீடுகளிலே பிரசித்தம்பண்ணுங்கள்.

அந்த நாளிலே வீட்டின் மேலிருப்பவன் வீட்டிலுள்ள தன் பண்டங்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோக இறங்காமல் இருக்கக்கடவன்; அப்படியே வயலிலிருக்கிறவன் பின்னிட்டுத் திரும்பாமலும் இருக்கக்கடவன்.

நீ புதுவீட்டைக் கட்டினால், ஒருவன் உன் மெத்தையிலிருந்து விழுகிறதினாலே, நீ இரத்தப்பழியை உன் வீட்டின்மேல் சுமத்திக͠Εொள்γாதபடிக்கு, அதற்குக் கைப்பிடிசுவரைக் கட்டவேண்டும்.

அவர்கள் மேடையிலிருந்து பட்டணத்திற்கு இறங்கிவந்தபின்பு, அவன் மேல்வீட்டிலே சவுலோடே பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.

வீட்டின்மேல் இருக்கிறவன் தன் வீட்டிற்குள் இறங்காமலும், தன் வீட்டில் எதையாகிலும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ள உள்ளே போகாமலும் இருக்கக்கடவன்.

ஜனக்கூட்டம் மிகுதியாயிருந்தபடியால் அவனை உள்ளே கொண்டுபோகிறதற்கு வகைகாணாமல், வீட்டின்மேல் ஏறி, தட்டோடுகள் வழியாய் ஜனங்களின் மத்தியில் இயேசுவுக்கு முன்பாக அவனைப் படுக்கையோடே இறக்கினார்கள்.

ஆதலால், நீங்கள் இருளிலே பேசினது எதுவோ, அது வெளிச்சத்திலே கேட்கப்படும்; நீங்கள் அறைகளில் காதிலே சொன்னது எதுவோ, அது வீடுகளின்மேல் கூறப்படும்.

மறுநாளிலே அவர்கள் பிரயாணப்பட்டு, அந்தப் பட்டணத்துக்குச் சமீபித்து வருகையில், பேதுரு ஆறாம் மணிநேரத்தில் ஜெபம்பண்ணும்படி மேல் வீட்டில் ஏறினான்.

சாத்தான் கர்த்தருக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக; தோலுக்குப் பதிலாகத் தோலையும், தன் ஜீவனுக்குப் பதிலாகத் தனக்கு உண்டான எல்லாவற்றையும் மனுஷன் கொடுத்துவிடுவான்.
