ஏனெனில், கள்ளக்கிறிஸ்துக்களும் கள்ளத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் எழும்பி, கூடுமானால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களையும் வஞ்சிக்கத்தக்கதாகப் பெரிய அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் செய்வார்கள்.

அநேகங் கள்ளத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் எழும்பி, அநேகரை வஞ்சிப்பார்கள்.

பிள்ளைகளே, இது கடைசிக்காலமாயிருக்கிறது; அந்திக்கிறிஸ்து வருகிறானென்று நீங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டபடி இப்பொழுதும் அநேக அந்திக்கிறிஸ்துகள் இருக்கிறார்கள்; அதினாலே இது கடைசிக்காலமென்று அறிகிறோம்.

ஏனென்றால் இந்நாட்களுக்குமுன்னே தெயுதாஸ் என்பவன் எழும்பி, தன்னை ஒரு பெரியவனாகப் பாராட்டினான்; ஏறக்குறைய நானூறு பேர் அவனைச் சேர்ந்தார்கள்; அவன் மடிந்துபோனான்; அவனை நம்பின அனைவரும் சிதறி, அவமாய்ப்போனார்கள்.

சீமோன் என்று பேர்கொண்ட ஒருமனுஷன் அந்தப் பட்டணத்திலே மாயவித்தைக்காரனாயிருந்து, தன்னை ஒரு பெரியவனென்று சொல்லி, சமாரியாநாட்டு ஜனங்களைப் பிரமிக்கப்பண்ணிக்கொண்டிருந்தான்.

அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளை நான் அனுப்பாதிருந்தும் அவர்கள் ஓடினார்கள்; அவர்களோடே நான் பேசாதிருந்தும் அவர்கள் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ் சொன்னார்கள்.

சொப்பனங்கண்டேன், சொப்பனங்கண்டேன் என்று, என் நாமத்தைச் சொல்லிப் பொய்த்தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைக்கிற தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் சொல்லுகிறதைக் கேட்டேன்.
