மற்றவர்களை ரட்சித்தான்; தன்னைத்தான் ரட்சித்துக்கொள்ளத் திராணியில்லை; இவன் இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவானால் இப்பொழுது சிலுவையிலிருந்து இறங்கிவரட்டும், அப்பொழுது இவனை விசுவாசிப்போம்.

அவர்கள், “இவன் மற்றவர்களைக் காப்பாற்றினான்! ஆனால் தன்னையே காப்பாற்றிக்கொள்ள முடியவில்லை! இவனை (இஸ்ரவேலின்) யூதர்களின் அரசன் என்று மக்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள். இவன் அரசனானால் இப்பொழுது சிலுவையிலிருந்து கீழே இறங்கி வரவேண்டும். அப்பொழுது நாங்கள் இவனை நம்புவோம்.
