விளக்கைக் கொளுத்தி மரக்காலால் மூடிவைக்காமல், விளக்குத் தண்டின்மேல் வைப்பார்கள்; அப்பொழுது அது வீட்டிலுள்ள யாவருக்கும் வெளிச்சம் கொடுக்கும்.

மக்கள் எரிகின்ற விளக்கைக் குடத்தின் கீழ் வைத்து மறைப்பதில்லை. மாறாக, அதை மக்கள் விளக்குத் தண்டின் மீது வைக்கிறார்கள். அப்பொழுது தான் விளக்கு வீட்டிலுள்ள அனைவருக்கும் வெளிச்சம் தருகிறது.

எவரும் விளக்கை ஏற்றி மரக்காலுக்குள் வைப்பதில்லை; மாறாக விளக்குத் தண்டின் மீதே வைப்பர். அப்பொழுதுதான் அது வீட்டிலுள்ள அனைவருக்கும் ஒளி தரும்.
