அவன்: ஐயோ! நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுவே, எங்களுக்கும் உமக்கும் என்ன? எங்களைக் கெடுக்கவா வந்தீர்? உம்மை இன்னார் என்று அறிவேன், நீர் தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்தர் என்று சத்தமிட்டான்.

அவன்: ஐயோ! நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுவே, எங்களுக்கும் உமக்கும் என்ன? எங்களைக்கெடுக்கவா வந்தீர்? உம்மை இன்னாரென்று அறிவேன்; நீர் தேவனுடைய பரிசுத்தர் என்று உரத்தΚத்தமிட்டான்.

அதற்கு ராஜா: செருயாவின் குமாரரே, எனக்கும் உங்களுக்கும் என்ன? அவன் என்னைத் தூஷிக்கட்டும்: தாவீதைத் தூஷிக்கவேண்டும் என்று கர்த்தர் அவனுக்குச் சொன்னார்; ஆகையால் ஏன் இப்படிச் செய்கிறாய் என்று கேட்கத்தக்கவன் யார் என்றான்.

இயேசுவே, உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய குமாரனே, எனக்கும் உமக்கும் என்ன? என்னை வேதனைப்படுத்தாதபடிக்குத் தேவன்பேரில் உமக்கு ஆணையென்று மிகுந்த சத்தமிட்டுச் சொன்னான்.

அதற்கு இயேசு: ஸ்திரீயே, எனக்கும் உனக்கும் என்ன, என் வேளை இன்னும் வரவில்லை என்றார்.

அதற்குத் தாவீது: செருயாவின் குமாரரே, இன்று நீங்கள் எனக்குச் சத்துருக்களாகிறதற்கு, எனக்கும் உங்களுக்கும் என்ன? இன்று இஸ்ரவேலில் ஒருவன் கொல்லப்படலாமா? இன்று நான் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவானேன் என்று எனக்குத் தெரியாதா என்று சொல்லி,

அப்பொழுது சோதனைக்காரன் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: நீர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனேயானால், இந்தக் கல்லுகள் அப்பங்களாகும்படி சொல்லும் என்றான்.

அவன் இயேசுவைக் கண்டபோது கூக்குரலிட்டு, அவருக்கு முன்பாகவிழுந்து: இயேசுவே, உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய குமாரனே, எனக்கும் உமக்கும் என்ன? என்னை வேதனைப்படுத்தாதபடிக்கு உம்மை வேண்டிக்கொள்ளுகிறேன் என்று மகா சத்தத்தோடே சொன்னான்.

பாவஞ்செய்த தூதர்களை தேவன் தப்பவிடாமல், அந்தகாரச் சங்கிலிகளினாலே கட்டி நரகத்திலே தள்ளி நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டவர்களாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்து;

பின்பு யெப்தா அம்மோன் புத்திரரின் ராஜாவினிடத்திற்கு ஸ்தானாபதிகளை அனுப்பி: நீ என் தேசத்தில் எனக்கு விரோதமாக யுத்தம்பண்ண வருகிறதற்கு, எனக்கும் உனக்கும் என்ன வழக்கு இருக்கிறது என்று கேட்கச்சொன்னான்.

அப்பொழுது அவள் எலியாவை நோக்கி: தேவனுடைய மனுஷனே, எனக்கும் உமக்கும் என்ன? என் அக்கிரமத்தை நினைக்கப்பண்ணவும், என் குமாரனைச் சாகப்பண்ணவுமா? என்னிடத்தில் வந்தீர் என்றாள்.

தீருவே, சீதோனே, பெலிஸ்தியாவின் சகல எல்லைகளே, உங்களுக்கும் எனக்கும் என்ன? இப்படி எனக்குச் சரிக்கட்டுகிறீர்களோ? இப்படி எனக்குச் சரிக்கட்டுவீர்களாகில், நான் தாமதமின்றி அதிசீக்கிரமாய் நீங்கள் சரிக்கட்டுகிறதை உங்கள் தலையின்மேல் திரும்பும்படி செய்வேன்.

அசுத்த ஆவிகளும் அவரைக் கண்டபோது, அவர் முன்பாக விழுந்து: நீர் தேவனுடைய குமாரன் என்று சத்தமிட்டன.

பிசாசுகளும்: நீர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனாகிய கிறிஸ்து என்று சத்தமிட்டு, அநேகரைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டது. அவரைக் கிறிஸ்து என்று பிசாசுகள் அறிந்திருந்தபடியால் அவர் அவைகளைப் பேசவொட்டாமல் அதட்டினார்.

அவள் பவுலையும் எங்களையும் பின்தொடர்ந்து வந்து: இந்த மனுஷர் உன்னதமான தேவனுடைய ஊழியக்காரர், இரட்சிப்பின் வழியை நமக்கு அறிவிக்கிறவர்கள் என்று சத்தமிட்டாள்.

தேவன் ஒருவர் உண்டென்று விசுவாசிக்கிறாய், அப்படிச் செய்கிறது நல்லதுதான்; பிசாசுகளும் விசுவாசித்து, நடுங்குகின்றன.

தங்களுடைய ஆதிமேன்மையைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளாமல், தங்களுக்குரிய வாசஸ்தலத்தை விட்டுவிட்ட தூதர்களையும், மகா நாளின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புக்கென்று நித்திய சங்கிலிகளினாலே கட்டி, அந்தகாரத்தில் அடைத்து வைத்திருக்கிறார்.
