இது எல்லாம் யாக்கோபுடைய மீறுதலினிமித்தமும், இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாருடைய பாவங்களினிமித்தமும் சம்பவிக்கும்; யாக்கோபின் மீறுதலுக்குக் காரணமென்ன? சமாரியா அல்லவோ? யூதாவின் மேடைகளுக்கு காரணமென்ன? எருசலேம் அல்லவோ?

இவை அனைத்தும் யாக்கோபுடைய மீறுதலின் காரணமாகவும், இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தார்களுடைய பாவங்களின் காரணமாகவும் சம்பவிக்கும்; யாக்கோபின் மீறுதலுக்குக் காரணமென்ன? சமாரியா அல்லவோ? யூதாவின் மேடைகளுக்குக் காரணமென்ன? எருசலேம் அல்லவோ?

ஏனென்றால், இதற்கு காரணம் யாக்கோபின் பாவம். இதற்கு இஸ்ரவேல் நாடு செய்த பாவங்களும் காரணமாகும். யாக்கோபு செய்த பாவத்திற்கு காரணம் என்ன? அது சமாரியா, யூதாவிலுள்ள, வழிபாட்டிற்குரிய இடம் எங்கே? அது எருசலேம்.
