எங்கள் தேவனே, நாங்கள் அவமதிக்கப்படுகிறதைக் கேட்டு, அவர்கள் நிந்திக்கிற நிந்தையை அவர்கள் தலையின்மேல் திருப்பி, அவர்களைச் சிறையிருப்பின் தேசத்திலே சூறைக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடும்.

நெகேமியா தேவனிடம் ஜெபம் செய்தான். அவன், “எங்கள் தேவனே, எங்கள் ஜெபத்தைக் கேளும். அந்த மனிதர்கள் எங்களை வெறுக்கிறார்கள். சன்பல்லாத்தும் தொபியாவும் எங்களை அவமதிக்கிறார்கள். அவர்களுக்கே அந்தத் தீயச் செயல்கள் ஏற்படும்படி செய்யும். அவர்களை கைதிகளாக கொண்டு போகப்பட்டவர்களைப் போல வெட்க முறும்படிச் செய்யும்.
