நாங்கள் அலங்கத்தைக் கட்டிவந்தோம்; அலங்கமெல்லாம் பாதிமட்டும் ஒன்றாய் இணைந்து உயர்ந்தது; ஜனங்கள் வேலைசெய்கிறதற்கு ஆவலாயிருந்தார்கள்.

நாங்கள் மதிலைக் கட்டிவந்தோம்; மதில்கள் எல்லாம் பாதிவரை ஒன்றாக இணைந்து உயர்ந்தது; மக்கள் வேலைசெய்வதற்கு ஆவலாக இருந்தார்கள்.

நாங்கள் எருசலேமின் சுவரைக் கட்டினோம். ஆனால் இச்சுவர்கள் இருக்கவேண்டிய உயரத்திற்கு பாதி உயரம் தான் உள்ளது. நாங்கள் இதுவரை செய்தோம். ஏனென்றால் ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் முழு மனதோடு வேலைச் செய்தனர்.

இவ்வாறு நாங்கள் மதிலைத் தொடர்ந்து கட்டினோம். எல்லா மதில்களும் பாதி உயரத்திற்கு எழும்பிவிட்டன. மக்களும் பணி செய்வதில் முழு உள்ளத்துடன் ஈடுபட்டனர்.⒫
