அப்பொழுது அவர்கள்மேல் கல்லெறியவேண்டும் என்று சபையார் எல்லாரும் சொன்னார்கள்; உடனே கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தில் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எல்லாருக்கும் முன்பாகக் காணப்பட்டது.

அனைத்து ஜனங்களும் யோசுவாவையும் கலேபையும் கல்லெறிந்து கொன்றுவிட வேண்டும் என்று பேச ஆரம்பித்தார்கள். ஆனால் கர்த்தரின் மகிமை, ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தின் மேலே அவர்கள் அனைவரும் காணும்படி தோன்றியது.
