மோசேக்கும் ஆரோனுக்கும் விரோதமாகக் கூட்டங்கூடி, அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் மிஞ்சிப்போகிறீர்கள்; சபையார் எல்லாரும் பரிசுத்தமானவர்கள்; கர்த்தர் அவர்கள் நடுவில் இருக்கிறாரே; இப்படியிருக்க, கர்த்தருடைய சபைக்கு மேலாக உங்களை ஏன் உயர்த்துகிறீர்கள் என்றார்கள்.

அவர்கள் அனைவரும் ஒரு குழுவாகி மோசேக்கும், ஆரோனுக்கும் எதிராகப் பேச வந்தனர். அவர்கள் மோசேயிடமும், ஆரோனிடமும் வந்து, “நீங்கள் அளவை மிஞ்சிப் போய் விட்டீர்கள். நீங்கள் தவறானவர்கள்! இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்கள் அனைவரும் பரிசுத்தமானவர்கள். அவர்கள் மத்தியில் கர்த்தர் வாழ்கிறார்! கர்த்தரின் மற்ற ஜனங்களைவிட, நீங்கள் உங்களை மட்டும் மிக முக்கிமானவர்களாக்கிக் கொண்டீர்கள்” என்றனர்.

நாளைக்கு அவைகளில் அக்கினிபோட்டு, கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் தூபவர்க்கம் இடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் எவனைத் தெரிந்துகொள்வாரோ, அவன் பரிசுத்தவானாயிருப்பான்; லேவியின் புத்திரராகிய நீங்களே மிஞ்சிப்போகிறீர்கள் என்றான்.

நீங்கள் குடியிருக்கும் என் வாசஸ்தலமாகிய தேசத்தைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தவேண்டாம்; கர்த்தராகிய நான் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் நடுவே வாசம்பண்ணுகிறேன் என்று சொல் என்றார்.
