இதை மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொன்னான்; அப்பொழுது அவர்களுடைய பிரபுக்கள் எல்லாரும் தங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய வம்சத்தின்படி ஒε்வெξரு பοரபுவுக்கு ஒவ்வொரு கோலாகப் பன்னிரண்டு கோல்களை அவனிடத்தில் கொடுத்தார்கள்; ஆரோனின் கோலும் அவர்களுடைய கோல்களுடனே இருந்தது.

இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களிடம் மோசே பேசினான். ஒவ்வொரு 12 கோத்திரங்களின் தலைவரும் தங்கள் கைத்தடியை அவனிடம் கொடுத்தார்கள். மொத்தம் 12 கைத்தடிகளைப் பெற்றான். ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரத்திற்கும் ஒரு கைத்தடி என்பதாக இருந்தது. ஒரு கைத்தடியில் ஆரோனுடைய பெயர் இருந்தது.

மோசே இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களிடம் பேசினார்; ஒரு தலைவனுக்கு ஒன்று வீதம் அவர்கள் மூதாதையர் குலங்களுக்கேற்பப் பன்னிரு கோல்களை அவர்கள் தலைவர்கள் அவரிடம் கொடுத்தனர்; அவர்கள் கோல்களுள் ஆரோன் கோலும் இருந்தது.
