ஆனால் மீண்டும் ஏதோம் அரசன், “எங்கள் நாட்டின் வழியாக நீங்கள் நடந்து செல்வதை நாங்கள் அனுமதிக்க மாட்டோம்” என்றான். பிறகு ஏதோம் அரசன் மிகப் பெரியதும், பலமுள்ளதுமான படையைக் கூட்டினான். அவர்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களோடு போரிட வந்தனர்.
