விதைப்பும் அத்திமரமும், திராட்சச்செடியும், மாதளஞ்செடியும், குடிக்கத் தண்ணீரும் இல்லாத இந்த கெட்ட இடத்தில் எங்களைக் கொண்டுவரும்படி, நீங்கள் எங்களை எகிப்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினது என்ன என்றார்கள்.

இந்தக் கொடிய இடத்துக்கு அழைத்துவர எங்களை எகிப்திலிருந்து வெளியேறப் பண்ணினது ஏன்? தானிய நிலம், அத்தி மரங்கள், திராட்சைக் கொடிகள், மாதுளைச் செடிகள் எவையுமே இங்கு இல்லை; குடிப்பதற்குத் தண்ணீரும் இல்லையே!”
