சீட்டுப்போட்டு, தேசத்தை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுக்கும்படி எங்கள் ஆண்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டாரே; அன்றியும், எங்கள் சகோதரனாகிய செலொப்பியாத்தின் சுதந்தரத்தை அவன் குமாரத்திகளுக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்றும் எங்கள் ஆண்டவனுக்குக் கர்த்தராலே கட்டளையிடப்பட்டதே.

அவர்கள், “ஐயா, எங்கள் நிலத்தின் பங்குகளைச் சீட்டுக்குலுக்கல் மூலம் நாங்கள் பெறுமாறு கர்த்தர் கட்டளையிட்டு இருக்கிறார். அதோடு செலோப்பியாத்தின் நிலப்பங்கானது அவனது மகள்களுக்குச் சேர வேண்டும் என்றும் கர்த்தர் கூறியிருக்கிறார். செலோப்பியாத் எங்களது சகோதரன்.

அவர்கள் கூறியது: “இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களின் உரிமைச் சொத்துக்காக நாட்டைத் திருவுளச்சீட்டு முறையில் கொடுக்கும்படி ஆண்டவர் எம் தலைவராகிய உமக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். எம் சகோதரன் செலோபுகாதின் உரிமைச் சொத்தை அவர் புதல்வியருக்குக் கொடுக்கும்படியும் ஆண்டவரால் உமக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டது.
