இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்கு யூபிலி வருஷம் வந்தாலும், அவர்களுடைய சுதந்தரம் அவர்கள் உட்பட்டுப்போன கோத்திரத்தின் சுதந்தரத்தோடே சேர்ந்துபோகும்; இப்படி எங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சுதந்தரத்திலிருந்து அது நீங்கிப்போகுமே என்றார்கள்.

இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு யூபிலி வருடம் வந்தாலும், அவர்களுடைய சுதந்தரம் அவர்கள் உட்பட்டுப்போன கோத்திரத்தின் சுதந்தரத்தோடு சேர்ந்துபோகும்; இப்படி எங்கள் பிதாக்களுடைய கோத்திரத்தின் சுதந்தரத்திலிருந்து அது நீங்கிப்போகுமே என்றார்கள்.

ஜனங்கள் தங்கள் நிலத்தை விற்கலாம். ஆனால் யூபிலி ஆண்டில் எல்லா நிலமும் உண்மையில் நில உரிமையாளனுக்கே திரும்பி அளிக்கப்படும். அப்போது செலோப்பியாத்தின் மகள்களுக்குரிய நிலம் யாருக்கு வந்து சேரும்? நித்தியத்துக்கும் எங்கள் குடும்பம் அந்த நிலத்தை இழந்து விட வேண்டியதுதானா?” என்று கேட்டனர்.

அத்துடன் இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுக்கு மீட்பின் ஆண்டு வரும்போது அவர்கள் உரிமைச் சொத்து அவர்களுக்குரிய குலத்தின் உரிமைச் சொத்துடன் சேர்க்கப்படும்; இவ்வாறு, அவர்களின் உரிமைச் சொத்து எங்கள் மூதாதையரின் உரிமைச் சொத்திலிருந்து குறைய நேரிடும்.”⒫

And when the jubilee of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.
