புருஷன்மேல் எரிச்சலின் ஆவி வருகிறதினால், அவன் தன் மனைவியின்மேல் அடைந்த சமுசயத்துக்கும் அடுத்த பிரமாணம் இதுவே. அவன் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் தன் மனைவியை நிறுத்துவானாக; ஆசாரியன் இந்தப் பிரமாணத்தின்படியெல்லாம் அவளுக்குச் செய்யக்கடவன்.

ஒரு கணவன் தன் மனைவி மீது பொறாமை கொண்டு அவளைச் சந்தேகப்பட்டாலும், அவன் இந்தப் பரிகாரத்தையே செய்ய வேண்டும். ஆசாரியன் அந்தப் பெண்ணை கர்த்தரின் முன்னிலையில் நிற்கச் செய்து இவற்றையெல்லாம் செய்ய வேண்டும். இதுதான் சட்டம்.
