தான் நசரேயனாயிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் திராட்சச்செடி விதைமுதல் தோல்வரையிலுள்ளவைகளினால் செய்யப்பட்ட யாதொன்றையும் புசியாமலும் இருக்கக்கடவன்.

இந்த விரத காலத்தில் அவன் திராட்சைச் செடியின் எந்த உணவுப் பொருட்களையும், உண்ணக் கூடாது, அவன் திராட்சைப் பழத்தின் தோலையும் விதைகளையும் கூட உண்ணக்கூடாது.
