கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளையின்படியே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் பிரயாணப்படுவர்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய கட்டளையின்படியே பாளயமிறங்குவார்கள்; மேகம் வாசஸ்தலத்தின்மேல் தங்கியிருக்கும் நாளெல்லாம் அவர்கள் பாளயத்தில் தங்கியிருப்பார்கள்.

இவ்வாறு எப்போது புறப்பட வேண்டும், எப்போது நிற்க வேண்டும், முகாமை எங்கே அமைக்க வேண்டும் என்பதையெல்லாம் இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்குக் கர்த்தர் சுட்டிக் காட்டினார். அங்கே மேகம் நிலைத்திருக்கும்வரை அவர்கள் அங்கேயே தங்கள் முகாமை அமைத்திருந்தனர்.
