என் கட்டுகளிலும், நான் சுவிசேஷத்திற்காக உத்தரவுசொல்லி அதைத் திடப்படுத்திவருகிறதிலும், நீங்கள் அனைவரும் எனக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட கிருபையில் பங்குள்ளவர்களானதால், உங்களை என் இருதயத்தில் தரித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறபடியினாலே, உங்களெல்லாரையுங் குறித்து நான் இப்படி நினைக்கிறது எனக்குத் தகுதியாயிருக்கிறது.

ஒன்றையும் வாதினாலாவது வீண்பெருமையினாலாவது செய்யாமல், மனத்தாழ்மையினாலே ஒருவரையொருவர் தங்களிலும் மேன்மையானவர்களாக எண்ணக்கடவீர்கள்.

ஆகையால் என்ன உத்தரவுசொல்லுவோமென்று கவலைப்படாதிருக்கும்படி உங்கள் மனதிலே நிர்ணயம்பண்ணிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

சகோதரரே, பிதாக்களே, நான் இப்பொழுது உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லப்போகிற நியாயங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பீர்களாக என்றான்.

அகிரிப்பா பவுலை நோக்கி: நீ உனக்காகப் பேச உனக்கு உத்தரவாகிறது என்றான். அப்பொழுது பவுல் கையை நீட்டி, தனக்காக உத்தரவு சொல்லத்தொடங்கினான்.

இதற்காகவே நான் பிரசங்கியாகவும், அப்போஸ்தலனாகவும், புறஜாதிகளுக்கு விசுவாசத்தையும் சத்தியத்தையும் விளங்கப்பண்ணுகிற போதகனாகவும் நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன்; நான் பொய் சொல்லாமல் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குள் உண்மையைச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.

அதற்கு நான் பிரசங்கியாகவும், அப்போஸ்தலனாகவும், புறஜாதியாருக்குப் போதகனாகவும் நியமிக்கப்பட்டேன்.

நல்ல போராட்டத்தைப் போராடினேன், ஓட்டத்தை முடித்தேன், விசுவாசத்தைக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்.

கர்த்தரோ எனக்குத் துணையாக நின்று என்னாலே பிரசங்கம் நிறைவேறுகிறதற்காகவும், புறஜாதியார் கேட்கிறதற்காகவும், என்னைப் பலப்படுத்தினார்; சிங்கத்தின் வாயிலிருந்தும் நான் இரட்சிக்கப்பட்டேன்.
