கனியற்ற அந்தகாரக் கிரியைகளுக்கு உடன்படாமல், அவைகளைக் கடிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

கொடுமையானவன் தன் அயலானுக்கு நயங்காட்டி, அவனை நலமல்லாத வழியிலே நடக்கப்பண்ணுகிறான்.

நீ திருடனைக் காணும்போது அவனோடு ஒருமித்துப்போகிறாய்; விபசாரரோடும் உனக்குப் பங்குண்டு.

நீ அவனுக்குச் சம்மதியாமலும், அவனுக்குச் செவிகொடாமலும், உன் கண் அவன்மேல் இரக்கங்கொள்ளாமலும், அவனைத் தப்பவிடாமலும், அவனை ஒளித்து வைக்காமலும்,

துன்மார்க்கருடைய ஆலோசனையில் நடவாமலும், பாவிகளுடைய வழியில் நில்லாமலும், பரியாசக்காரர் உட்காரும் இடத்தில் உட்காராமலும்,

அப்படிப்பட்டவர்கள் நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவுக்கு ஊழியஞ்செய்யாமல் தங்கள் வயிற்றுக்கே ஊழியஞ்செய்து, நயவசனிப்பினாலும் இச்சகப்பேச்சினாலும், கபடில்லாதவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களை வஞ்சிக்கிறவர்களாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.

சிலநாள் சென்றபின், அவனுடைய எஜமானனின் மனைவி யோசேப்பின்மேல் கண்போட்டு, என்னோடே சயனி என்றாள்.

இப்படி அவனைத் தினம்தினம் தன் வார்த்தைகளினாலே நெருக்கி அலட்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறதினால், சாகத்தக்கதாய் அவன் ஆத்துமா விசனப்பட்டு,

தன் மிகுதியான இனிய சொற்களால் அவனை வசப்படுத்தி, தன் உதடுகளின் மதுரவாக்கினால் அவனை இணங்கப்பண்ணினாள்.

ஞானிகளோடே சஞ்சரிக்கிறவன் ஞானமடைவான்; மூடருக்குத் தோழனோ நாசமடைவான்.

தூற்றிக்கொண்டு திரிகிறவன் இரகசியங்களை வெளிப்படுத்துவான்; ஆதலால் தன் உதடுகளினால் அலப்புகிறவனோடே கலவாதே.
