இணை வசனம்

பிறனை அவமதிக்கிறவன் பாவஞ்செய்கிறான்; தரித்திரனுக்கு இரங்குகிறவனோ பாக்கியமடைவான்.

வெளியே புறப்பட்டு, தங்கள் திராட்சத்தோட்டங்களின் பழங்களை அறுத்து, ஆலையாட்டி, ஆடிப்பாடி, தங்கள் தேவனின் வீட்டிற்குள் போய், புசித்துக்குடித்து, அபிமெலேக்கை சபித்தார்கள்.

அதற்குச் சேபூல்: அபிமெலேக்கை நாம் சேவிக்கிறதற்கு அவன் யார் என்று நீ சொன்ன உன் வாய் இப்பொழுது எங்கே? நீ நிந்தித்தஜனங்கள் அவர்கள் அல்லவா? இப்பொழுது நீ புறப்பட்டு, அவர்களோடே யுத்தம்பண்ணு என்றான்.

ஆனாலும் பேலியாளின் மக்கள்: இவனா நம்மை ரட்சிக்கப்போகிறவன் என்று சொல்லி, அவனுக்குக் காணிக்கை கொண்டு வராமல் அவனை அசட்டைபண்ணினார்கள்; அவனோ காதுகேளாதவன் போல இருந்தான்.

ஆனாலும் ஜனங்கள் அவனுக்கு ஒரு வார்த்தையும் பிரதியுத்தரமாகச் சொல்லாமல் மவுனமாயிருந்தார்கள்; அவனுக்கு மறுஉத்தரவு சொல்லவேண்டாம் என்று ராஜா கட்டளையிட்டிருந்தான்.

அந்த அற்பமான யூதர் செய்கிறது என்ன, அவர்களுக்கு இடங்கொடுக்கப்படுமோ, பலியிடுவார்களோ, ஒருநாளிலே முடித்துப்போடுவார்களோ, சுட்டெரித்துப் போடப்பட்டு மண்மேடுகளான கற்களுக்கு உயிர் கொடுப்பார்களோ, என்று தன் சகோதரருக்கும் சமாரியாவின் சேனைக்கும் முன்பாகச் சொன்னான்.

எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும் கர்த்தாவே, எங்களுக்கு இரங்கும்; நிந்தனையினால் மிகவும் நிறைந்திருக்கிறோம்.

சொற்களின் மிகுதியில் பாவமில்லாமற்போகாது; தன் உதடுகளை அடக்குகிறவனோ புத்திமான்.

இவைகளையெல்லாம் பொருளாசைக்காரராகிய பரிசேயரும் கேட்டு, அவரைப் பரியாசம்பண்ணினார்கள்.

அன்றியும், தங்களை நீதிமான்களென்று நம்பி, மற்றவர்களை அற்பமாயெண்ணின சிலரைக்குறித்து, அவர் ஒரு உவமையைச் சொன்னார்.

அதிகாரிகளிலாவது பரிசேயரிலாவது யாதாமொருவர் அவனை விசுவாசித்ததுண்டா?

அவர் வையப்படும்போது பதில்வையாமலும், பாடுபடும்போது பயமுறுத்தாமலும், நியாயமாய்த் தீர்ப்புச்செய்கிறவருக்குத் தம்மை ஒப்புவித்தார்.
