இணை வசனம்

துன்மார்க்கன் துஷ்டருடைய வலையை விரும்புகிறான்; நீதிமானுடைய வேர் கனி கொடுக்கும்.

பகைஞன் தன் உள்ளத்தில் கபடத்தை மறைத்து, தன் உதடுகளினால் சூதுபேசுகிறான்.

நமக்கு ஒரு பாலகன் பிறந்தார்; நமக்கு ஒரு குமாரன் கொடுக்கப்பட்டார்; கர்த்தத்துவம் அவர் தோளின்மேலிருக்கும்; அவர் நாமம் அதிசயமானவர், ஆலோசனைக் கர்த்தா, வல்லமையுள்ள தேவன், நித்திய பிதா, சமாதானப்பிரபு என்னப்படும்.

நானோ உம்மைப் பின்பற்றுகிற மேய்ப்பன், இதற்கு நான் மிஞ்சி நடக்கவில்லை; ஆபத்துநாளை விரும்புறதுமில்லையென்று நீர் அறிவீர்; என் உதடுகளிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டது உமக்கு முன்பாகச் செவ்வையாயிருந்தது.

அவரே கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுவார்; அவர் மகிமைபொருந்தினவராய், தம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் வீற்றிருந்து ஆளுகை செய்வார்; தம்முடைய சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் ஆசாரியராயும் இருப்பார்; இவ்விரண்டின் நடுவாகச் சமாதானத்தின் ஆலோசனை விளங்கும்.

சமாதானம் பண்ணுகிறவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்; அவர்கள் தேவனுடைய புத்திரர் என்னப்படுவார்கள்.

எப்படியெனில், மனுஷருடைய இருதயத்திற்குள்ளிருந்து பொல்லாத சிந்தனைகளும், விபசாரங்களும், வேசித்தனங்களும், கொலைபாதகங்களும்,

அவர்கள் வந்து: போதகரே, நீர் சத்தியமுள்ளவரென்றும், எவனைக்குறித்தும் உமக்குக் கவையில்லை என்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம், நீர் முகதாட்சணியம் இல்லாதவராய்த் தேவனுடைய மார்க்கத்தைச் சத்தியமாய்ப் போதிக்கிறீர், இராயனுக்கு வரிகொடுக்கிறது நியாயமோ அல்லவோ? நாம் கொடுக்கலாமோ, கொடுக்கக்கூடாதோ? என்று கேட்டார்கள்.

அவர்கள் சகலவித அநியாயத்தினாலும், வேசித்தனத்தினாலும், துரோகத்தினாலும், பொருளாசையினாலும், குரோதத்தினாலும் நிறையப்பட்டு; பொறாமையினாலும், கொலையினாலும், வாக்குவாதத்தினாலும், வஞ்சகத்தினாலும், வன்மத்தினாலும் நிறைந்தவர்களுமாய்,

யாவரோடும் சமாதானமாயிருக்கவும், பரிசுத்தமுள்ளவர்களாயிருக்கவும் நாடுங்கள்; பரிசுத்தமில்லாமல் ஒருவனும் கர்த்தரைத் தரிசிப்பதில்லையே.

மேலும், நீங்களெல்லாரும் ஒருமனப்பட்டவர்களும், இரக்கமுள்ளவர்களும், சகோதர சிநேகமுள்ளவர்களும் மன உருக்கமுள்ளவர்களும், இணக்கமுள்ளவர்களுமாயிருந்து,
