இணை வசனம்

சோம்பற்கையால் வேலைசெய்கிறவன் ஏழையாவான்; சுறுசுறுப்புள்ளவன் கையோ செல்வத்தை உண்டாக்கும்.

சோம்பேறி தான் வேட்டையாடிப் பிடித்ததைச் சமைப்பதில்லை; ஜாக்கிரதையுள்ளவனுடைய பொருளோ அருமையானது.

சோம்பேறியின் கைகள் வேலைசெய்யச் சம்மதியாததினால், அவன் ஆசை அவனைக் கொல்லும்.

அவன், இளைப்பாறுதல் நல்லது என்றும் நாடு வசதியானது என்றும் கண்டு, சுமக்கிறதற்குத் தன் தோளைச் சாய்த்து, பகுதிகட்டுகிறவனானான்.

யெரொபெயாம் என்பவன் பராக்கிரமசாலியாயிருந்தான்; அவன் காரிய சமர்த்தனான வாலிபன் என்று சாலொமோன் கண்டு, யோசேப்பு வம்சத்தாரின் காரியத்தையெல்லாம் அவன் விசாரிப்புக்கு ஒப்புவித்தான்.

புத்தியுள்ள வேலைக்காரன் இலச்சையுண்டாக்குகிற புத்திரனை ஆண்டு, சகோதரருக்குள்ள சுதந்தரத்தில் பங்கடைவான்.

சோம்பல் தூங்கிவிழப்பண்ணும்; அசதியானவன் பட்டினியாயிருப்பான்.

வெளியிலே சிங்கம், வீதியிலே கொலையுண்பேன் என்று சோம்பேறி சொல்லுவான்.

சோம்பேறியுடைய ஆத்துமா விரும்பியும் ஒன்றும் பெறாது; ஜாக்கிரதையுள்ளவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமாவோ புஷ்டியாகும்.

அவர்களுக்குப் பிறகு தேசத்தில் மீந்திருந்த சகல ஜனங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளையும், சாலொமோன் இந்நாள்வரைக்கும் நடக்கிறதுபோல, அமஞ்சிவேலை செய்ய அடிமைப்படுத்திக்கொண்டான்.

யெரொபெயாம் திரும்பிவந்தான் என்று இஸ்ரவேலருக்கெல்லாம் கேள்வியானபோது, அவனைச் சபையினிடத்தில் அழைத்தனுப்பி, அவனைச் சமஸ்த இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும் ராஜாவாக்கினார்கள்; யூதாகோத்திரம்மாத்திரமேயன்றி வேறொருவரும் தாவீதின் வம்சத்தைப் பின்பற்றவில்லை.

தன் வேலையில் ஜாக்கிரதையாயிருக்கிறவனை நீ கண்டால், அவன் நீசருக்கு முன்பாக நில்லாமல், ராஜாக்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிற்பான்.

சோம்பேறியின் வயலையும், மதியீனனுடைய திராட்சத்தோட்டத்தையும் கடந்துபோனேன்.

வழியிலே சிங்கம் இருக்கும், நடு வீதியிலே சிங்கம் இருக்கும் என்று சோம்பேறி சொல்லுவான்.
