இணை வசனம்

அவரவர் தங்கள் தோழரோடே பொய்பேசுகிறார்கள்; இச்சக உதடுகளால் இருமனதாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்.

அவன் தன் அக்கிரமம் அருவருப்பானதென்று காணப்படுமளவும், தன்பார்வைக்கேற்றபடி தனக்குத்தானே இச்சகம் பேசுகிறான்.

ஒருவன் என்னைப் பார்க்கவந்தால் வஞ்சனையாய்ப் பேசுகிறான்; அவன் தன் இருதயத்தில் அக்கிரமத்தைச் சேகரித்துக்கொண்டு, தெருவிலேபோய், அதைத் தூற்றுகிறான்.

உமது கட்டளைகளைத் தியானித்து உமது வழிகளைக் கண்ணோக்குகிறேன்.

தேவனே என்னை ஆராய்ந்து, என் இருதயத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ளும், என்னைச் சோதித்து, என் சிந்தனைகளை அறிந்துகொள்ளும்.

கர்த்தாவே, பொல்லாத மனுஷனுக்கு என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; கொடுமையுள்ளவனுக்கு என்னை விலக்கி இரட்சியும்.

நீதிமான்களுடைய ஆசை நன்மையே; துன்மார்க்கருடைய நம்பிக்கையோ கோபாக்கினையாய் முடியும்.

தீயநோக்கம் பாவமாம்; பரியாசக்காரன் மனுஷருக்கு அருவருப்பானவன்.

துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியையும், அக்கிரமக்காரன் தன் நினைவுகளையும்விட்டு, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் திரும்பக்கடவன்; அவர் அவன்மேல் மனதுருகுவார்; நம்முடைய தேவனிடத்திற்கே திரும்பக்கடவன்; அவர் மன்னிக்கிறதற்குத் தயை பெருத்திருக்கிறார்.

எருசலேமே, நீ இரட்சிக்கப்படும்படிக்கு உன் இருதயத்தைப் பொல்லாப்பறக் கழுவு; எந்தமட்டும் அக்கிரம நினைவுகள் உன் உள்ளத்திலே தங்கும்.

ஏரோதுராஜா அதைக் கேட்டபொழுது, அவனும் அவனோடுகூட எருசலேம் நகரத்தார் அனைவரும் கலங்கினார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது ஏரோது தான் சாஸ்திரிகளால் வஞ்சிக்கப்பட்டதைக் கண்டு, மிகுந்த கோபமடைந்து, ஆட்களை அனுப்பி, தான் சாஸ்திரிகளிடத்தில் திட்டமாய் விசாரித்த காலத்தின்படியே, பெத்லகேமிலும் அதின் சகல எல்லைகளிலுமிருந்த இரண்டு வயதுக்குட்பட்ட எல்லா ஆண்பிள்ளைகளையும் கொலைசெய்தான்.

இயேசுவைத் தந்திரமாய்ப் பிடித்துக் கொலைசெய்யும்படி ஆலோசனைபண்ணினார்கள்.

ஆனதால், கர்த்தர் வருமளவும் நீங்கள் காலத்துக்குமுன்னே யாதொன்றைக்குறித்தும் தீர்ப்புச்சொல்லாதிருங்கள், இருளில் மறைந்திருக்கிறவைகளை அவர் வெளியரங்கமாக்கி, இருதயங்களின் யோசனைகளையும் வெளிப்படுத்துவார்; அப்பொழுது அவனவனுக்குரிய புகழ்ச்சி தேவனால் உண்டாகும்.

வெட்கமான அந்தரங்க காரியங்களை நாங்கள் வெறுத்து, தந்திரமாய் நடவாமலும், தேவ வசனத்தைப் புரட்டாமலும், சத்தியத்தை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறதினாலே தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக எல்லா மனுஷருடைய மனச்சாட்சிக்கும் எங்களை உத்தமரென்று விளங்கப்பண்ணுகிறோம்.
