இணை வசனம்

உம்முடைய வாசஸ்தலமாகிய பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற தேவரீர் கேட்டு மன்னித்து,

தேவன் அதை ஆராய்ந்து, விசாரியாதிருப்பாரோ? இருதயத்தின் அந்தரங்ககளை அவர் அறிந்திருக்கிறாரே.

அவருக்கு முன்பாகப் பாதாளம் வெளியாய்த் திறந்திருக்கிறது; நரகம் மூடப்படாதிருக்கிறது.

நான் வானத்திற்கு ஏறினாலும் நீர் அங்கே இருக்கிறீர்; நான் பாதாளத்தில் படுக்கை போட்டாலும், நீர் அங்கேயும் இருக்கிறீர்.

கர்த்தர் சாமுவேலை நோக்கி: நீ இவனுடைய முகத்தையும், இவனுடைய சரீரவளர்ச்சியையும் பார்க்கவேண்டாம்; நான் இவனைப் புறக்கணித்தேன்; மனுஷன் பார்க்கிறபடி நான் பாரேன்; மனுஷன் முகத்தைப் பார்ப்பான்: கர்த்தரோ இருதயத்தைப் பார்க்கிறார் என்றார்.

துன்மார்க்கனுடைய பொல்லாங்கை ஒழியப்பண்ணும்; நீதிமானை ஸ்திரப்படுத்துவீராக; நீதியுள்ளவராயிருக்கிற தேவரீர் இருதயங்களையும் உள்ளிந்திரியங்களையும் சோதித்தறிகிறவர்.

பாதாளமும் அழிவும் திருப்தியாகிறதில்லை; அதுபோல மனுஷனுடைய கண்களும் திருப்தியாகிறதில்லை.

கர்த்தராகிய நானே ஒவ்வொருவனுக்கும், அவனவன் வழிகளுக்கும் செய்கைகளின் பலன்களுக்கும் தக்கதைக் கொடுக்கும்படிக்கும், இருதயத்தை ஆராய்கிறவரும் உள்ளிந்திரியங்களைச் சோதித்தறிகிறவருமாயிருக்கிறேன்.

அப்படியிருந்தும், இயேசு எல்லாரையும் அறிந்திருந்தபடியால், அவர்களை நம்பி இணங்கவில்லை.

மூன்றாந்தரம் அவர் அவனை நோக்கி: யோனாவின் குமாரனாகிய சீமோனே, நீ என்னை நேசிக்கிறாயா என்றார். என்னை நேசிக்கிறாயா என்று அவர் மூன்றாந்தரம் தன்னைக் கேட்டபடியினாலே பேதுரு துக்கப்பட்டு: ஆண்டவரே, நீர் எல்லாவற்றையும் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர், நான் உம்மை நேசிக்கிறேன் என்பதையும் நீர் அறிவீர் என்றான். இயேசு: என் ஆடுகளை மேய்ப்பாயாக என்றார்.

அவருடைய பார்வைக்கு மறைவான சிருஷ்டி ஒன்றுமில்லை; சகலமும் அவருடைய கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக நிர்வாணமாயும் வெளியரங்கமாயுமிருக்கிறது, அவருக்கே நாம் கணக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கவேண்டும்.

மரித்தேன், ஆனாலும், இதோ, சதாகாலங்களிலும் உயிரோடிருக்கிறேன், ஆமென்; நான் மரணத்திற்கும் பாதாளத்திற்குமுரிய திறவுகோல்களை உடையவராயிருக்கிறேன்.
