இணை வசனம்

கர்த்தாவே, என்னைப் பரீட்சித்து, என்னைச் சோதித்துப்பாரும்; என் உள்ளிந்திரியங்களையும் என் இருதயத்தையும் புடமிட்டுப்பாரும்.

வெள்ளிக்குக் குகையும், பொன்னுக்குப் புடமும் சோதனை; மனுஷனுக்கு அவனுக்கு உண்டாகும் புகழ்ச்சியே சோதனை.

கர்த்தராகிய நானே ஒவ்வொருவனுக்கும், அவனவன் வழிகளுக்கும் செய்கைகளின் பலன்களுக்கும் தக்கதைக் கொடுக்கும்படிக்கும், இருதயத்தை ஆராய்கிறவரும் உள்ளிந்திரியங்களைச் சோதித்தறிகிறவருமாயிருக்கிறேன்.

என் தேவனே, நீர் இருதயத்தைச் சோதித்து, உத்தம குணத்தில் பிரியமாயிருக்கிறீர் என்பதை அறிவேன்; இவையெல்லாம் நான் உத்தம இருதயத்தோடே மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுத்தேன்; இப்பொழுது இங்கேயிருக்கிற உம்முடைய ஜனமும் உமக்கு மனப்பூர்வமாய்க் கொடுக்கிறதைக் கண்டு சந்தோஷித்தேன்.

அழிந்துபோகிற பொன் அக்கினியினாலே சோதிக்கப்படும்; அதைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிக விலையேறப்பெற்றதாயிருக்கிற உங்கள் விசுவாசம் சோதிக்கப்பட்டு, இயேசுகிறிஸ்து வெளிப்படும்போது உங்களுக்குப் புகழ்ச்சியும் கனமும் மகிமையுமுண்டாகக் காணப்படும்.

தேவனே, எங்களைச் சோதித்தீர்; வெள்ளியைப் புடமிடுகிறதுபோல எங்களைப் புடமிட்டீர்.

இதோ, உன்னைப் புடமிட்டேன்; ஆனாலும் வெள்ளியைப்போலல்ல, உபத்திரவத்தின் குகையிலே உன்னைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன்.

அந்த மூன்றாம் பங்கை நான் அக்கினிக்குட்படப்பண்ணி, வெள்ளியை உருக்குகிறதுபோல அவர்களை உருக்கி, பொன்னைப் புடமிடுகிறதுபோல அவர்களைப் புடமிடுவேன்; அவர்கள் என் நாமத்தைத் தொழுதுகொள்வார்கள்; நான் அவர்கள் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்பேன்; இது என்ஜனமென்று நான் சொல்லுவேன், கர்த்தர் என் தேவனென்று அவர்கள் சொல்லுவார்கள்.

ஆனாலும் அவர் வரும் நாளை சகிப்பவன் யார்? அவர் வெளிப்படுகையில் நிலைநிற்பவன் யார்? அவர் புடமிடுகிறவனுடைய அக்கினியைப்போலவும், வண்ணாருடைய சவுக்காரத்தைப்போலவும் இருப்பார்.

அவளுடைய பிள்ளைகளையும் கொல்லவே கொல்லுவேன்; அப்பொழுது நானே உள்ளிந்திரியங்களையும் இருதயங்களையும் ஆராய்கிறவரென்று எல்லாச் சபைகளும் அறிந்துகொள்ளும்; அன்றியும் உங்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனுக்கும் உங்கள் கிரியைகளின்படியே பலனளிப்பேன்.
