இணை வசனம்

புத்திமானுடைய மனம் அறிவைத் தேடும்; மூடரின் வாயோ மதியீனத்தை மேயும்.

உமது வேதத்தில் நான் எவ்வளவு பிரியமாயிருக்கிறேன்! நாள் முழுதும் அது என் தியானம்.

ஆகையால் உமது ஜனங்களை நியாயம் விசாரிக்கவும், நன்மைதீமை இன்னதென்று வகையறுக்கவும், அடியேனுக்கு ஞானமுள்ள இருதயத்தைத் தந்தருளும்; ஏராளமாயிருக்கிற இந்த உமது ஜனங்களை நியாயம் விசாரிக்க யாராலே ஆகும் என்றான்.

புத்திமான் இவைகளைக் கேட்டு, அறிவில் தேறுவான்; விவேகி நல்லாலோசனைகளை அடைந்து;

ஞானத்தைச் சம்பாதி, புத்தியையும் சம்பாதி; என் வாயின் வார்த்தைகளை மறவாமலும் விட்டு விலகாமலும் இரு.

ஞானமே முக்கியம் ஞானத்தைச் சம்பாதி; என்னத்தைச் சம்பாதித்தாலும் புத்தியைச் சம்பாதித்துக்கொள்.

ஞானமுள்ளவனுக்குப் போதகம்பண்ணு, அவன் ஞானத்தில் தேறுவான்; நீதிமானுக்கு உபதேசம்பண்ணு, அவன் அறிவில் விருத்தியடைவான்.

ஞானவான்கள் அறிவைச் சேர்த்துவைக்கிறார்கள்; மூடனுடைய வாய்க்குக் கேடு சமீபித்திருக்கிறது.

சத்தியத்தை வாங்கு, அதை விற்காதே; அப்படியே ஞானத்தையும் உபதேசத்தையும் புத்தியையும் வாங்கு.

சில விதை நல்ல நிலத்தில் விழுந்தது, அது முளைத்து, ஒன்று நூறாகப் பலன் கொடுத்தது என்றார். இவைகளைச் சொல்லி, கேட்கிறதற்குக் காதுள்ளவன் கேட்கக்கடவன் என்று சத்தமிட்டுக் கூறினார்.

அவளுக்கு மரியாள் என்னப்பட்ட ஒரு சகோதரி இருந்தாள்; அவள் இயேசுவின் பாதத்தருகே உட்கார்ந்து, அவருடைய வசனத்தைக் கேட்டுக்கொண்டிருந்தாள்.

வேதவாக்கியங்களெல்லாம் தேவஆவியினால் அருளப்பட்டிருக்கிறது; தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் தேறினவனாகவும், எந்த நற்கிரியையுஞ் செய்யத் தகுதியுள்ளவனாகவும் இருக்கும்படி,

உங்களில் ஒருவன் ஞானத்தில் குறைவுள்ளவனாயிருந்தால், யாவருக்கும் சம்பூரணமாய்க் கொடுக்கிறவரும் ஒருவரையும் கடிந்துகொள்ளாதவருமாகிய தேவனிடத்தில் கேட்கக்கடவன், அப்பொழுது அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.
