தீவினைசெய்வது மூடனுக்கு விளையாட்டு; புத்திமானுக்கோ ஞானம் உண்டு.

துர்ச்சனரோடு மகா தீவினைசெய்யும்போது, என் பிரியமானவளுக்கு என் வீட்டில் என்ன இருக்கிறது? பரிசுத்த மாம்சத்தை உன்னைவிட்டுத் தாண்டிப்போகப்பண்ணுவார்கள்; உன் பொல்லாப்பு நடக்கும்போது நீ களிகூருகிறாயே.

இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளைச் செய்கிறவர்கள் மரணத்திற்குப் பாத்திரராயிருக்கிறார்களென்று தேவன் தீர்மானித்த நீதியான தீர்ப்பை அவர்கள் அறிந்திருந்தும், அவைகளைத் தாங்களே செய்கிறதுமல்லாமல், அவைகளைச் செய்கிற மற்றவர்களிடத்தில் பிரியப்படுகிறவர்களுமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.

ராஜாவைத் தங்கள் பொல்லாப்பினாலும், அதிபதிகளைத் தங்கள் பொய்களிலும் சந்தோஷப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்.

அவர்களெல்லாரையும் தூண்டிலினால் இழுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; அவர்களைத் தன் வலையினால் பிடித்து, தன்பறியிலே சேர்த்துக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; அதினால் சந்தோஷப்பட்டுக் களிகூருகிறான்.

எனக்கு விரோதமாய்த் துரோகம்பண்ணி, நீ செய்த உன் எல்லாக் கிரியைகளினிமித்தமும் அந்நாளிலே வெட்கப்படாதிருப்பாய்; அப்பொழுது நான் உன் பெருமையைக்குறித்துக் களிகூர்ந்தவர்களை உன் நடுவிலிருந்து விலக்கிவிடுவேன்; நீ இனி என் பரிசுத்த பர்வதத்தில் அகங்காரங்கொள்ளமாட்டாய்.

அவன் பிரதான ஆசாரியர்களிடத்திலும் சேனைத் தலைவர்களிடத்திலும் போய், அவரைக் காட்டிக்கொடுக்கும் வகையைக் குறித்து அவர்களோடே ஆலோசனை பண்ணினான்.

அநியாயத்தில் சந்தோஷப்படாமல், சத்தியத்தில் சந்தோஷப்படும்.
