இணை வசனம்

பரியாசக்காரனை அடி, அப்பொழுது பேதை எச்சரிக்கப்படுவான்; புத்திமானைக் கடிந்துகொள், அவன் அறிவுள்ளவனாவான்.

அவர்களைச் சுற்றிலும் இருந்த இஸ்ரவேலர் யாவரும் அவர்கள் கூக்குரலைக்கேட்டு, பூமி நம்மையும் விழுங்கிப்போடும் என்று சொல்லி ஓடினார்கள்.

இஸ்ரவேலர் யாவரும் அதைக் கேட்டுப் பயந்து, இனி உன் நடுவே இப்படிப்பட்ட தீமையான காரியத்தைச் செய்யாதிருப்பார்கள்.

அப்பொழுது அவன் சாகும்படி அந்தப் பட்டணத்து மனிதரெல்லாம் அவன்மேல் கல்லெறியக்கடவர்கள்; இப்படியே தீமையை உன் நடுவிலிருந்து விலக்கிப்போடவேண்டும்; இஸ்ரவேலர் எல்லாரும் அதைக் கேட்டுப் பயப்படுவார்கள்.

ஆனாலும் தேவன் அவர்கள்மேல் அம்புகளை எய்வார், சடிதியாய் அவர்கள் காயப்படுவார்கள்.

புத்திமான் இவைகளைக் கேட்டு, அறிவில் தேறுவான்; விவேகி நல்லாலோசனைகளை அடைந்து;

ஞானமுள்ளவனுக்குப் போதகம்பண்ணு, அவன் ஞானத்தில் தேறுவான்; நீதிமானுக்கு உபதேசம்பண்ணு, அவன் அறிவில் விருத்தியடைவான்.

புத்திமானுடைய மனம் அறிவைத் தேடும்; மூடரின் வாயோ மதியீனத்தை மேயும்.

பிரிந்துபோகிறவன் தன் இச்சையின்படி செய்யப்பார்க்கிறான், எல்லா ஞானத்திலும் தலையிட்டுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்.

புத்திமானுடைய மனம் அறிவைச் சம்பாதிக்கும்; ஞானியின் செவி அறிவை நாடும்.

அனனியா இந்த வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கவே, விழுந்து ஜீவனை விட்டான். இவைகளைக் கேள்விப்பட்ட யாவருக்கும் மிகுந்த பயமுண்டாயிற்று.

சபையாரெல்லாருக்கும், இவைகளைக் கேள்விப்பட்ட மற்ற யாவருக்கும், மிகுந்த பயமுண்டாயிற்று.

அவர்கள் இச்சித்ததுபோல நாமும் பொல்லாங்கானவைகளை இச்சியாதபடிக்கு, இவைகள் நமக்குத் திருஷ்டாந்தங்களாயிருக்கிறது.

ஆகையால், நாம் கேட்டவைகளைவிட்டு விலகாதபடிக்கு, அவைகளை மிகுந்த ஜாக்கிரதையாய்க் கவனிக்கவேண்டும்.

மோசேயினுடைய பிரமாணத்தைத் தள்ளுகிறவன் இரக்கம்பெறாமல் இரண்டுமூன்று சாட்சிகளின் வாக்கினாலே சாகிறானே;

அந்நேரத்திலே பூமி மிகவும் அதிர்ந்தது, உடனே அந்த நகரத்தில் பத்திலொருபங்கு இடிந்து விழுந்தது; மனுஷரில் ஏழாயிரம்பேர் பூமியதிர்ச்சியினால் அழிந்தார்கள்; மீதியானவர்கள் பயமடைந்து பரலோகத்தின் தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்கள்.
