அவன் தீவினை அவன் சிரசின்மேல் திரும்பும், அவன் கொடுமை அவன் உச்சந்தலையின்மேல் இறங்கும்.

கர்த்தர் தாம் செய்த நியாயத்தில் அறியப்படுகிறார்; துன்மார்க்கன் தன் கைகளின் செய்கையிலே சிக்கிக்கொண்டான்.(இகாயோன்,சேலா.)

இவர்களோ தங்கள் இரத்தத்திற்கே பதிவிருக்கிறார்கள், தங்கள் பிராணனுக்கே ஒளி வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

நீதிமானுடைய சிரசின்மேல் ஆசீர்வாதங்கள் தங்கும்; கொடுமையோ துன்மார்க்கனுடைய வாயை அடைக்கும்.

நீதியையும் தயையையும் பின்பற்றுகிறவன் ஜீவனையும் நீதியையும் மகிமையையும் கண்டடைவான்.

ஏழையாயிருக்கிறான் என்று ஏழையைக் கொள்ளையிடாதே; சிறுமையானவனை நியாயஸ்தலத்தில் உபத்திரவப்படுத்தாதே.

உன் பிரபுக்கள் முரடரும் திருடரின் தோழருமாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனும் பரிதானத்தை விரும்பி, கைக்கூலியை நாடித்திரிகிறான்; திக்கற்ற பிள்ளையின் நியாயத்தை விசாரியார்கள்; விதவையின் வழக்கு அவர்களிடத்தில் ஏறுகிறதில்லை.

நீங்கள் திருடி, கொலைசெய்து, விபசாரம்பண்ணி, பொய்யாணையிட்டு, பாகாலுக்குத் தூபங்காட்டி, நீங்கள் அறியாத அந்நிய தேவர்களைப் பின்பற்றி,

நான் உங்களுடைய எல்லாச் சகோதரருமாகிய எப்பிராயீம் சந்ததி அனைத்தையும் தள்ளிப்போட்டதுபோல, உங்களையும் என் முகத்தைவிட்டுத் தள்ளிப்போடுவேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்.

அவன் தகப்பனோவென்றால் கொடுமைசெய்து, சகோதரனைக் கொள்ளையிட்டு, தகாததைத் தன் ஜனங்களின் நடுவிலே செய்தபடியினால், இதோ, அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்திலே சாவான்.

இதோ, நீ அநியாயமாய்ச் சம்பாதித்த பொருளினிமித்தமும், உன் நடுவில் நீ சிந்தின இரத்தத்தினிமித்தமும் நான் கைகொட்டுகிறேன்.

இப்படிப்பட்டவைகளினிமித்தமாகக் கீழ்ப்படியாமையின் பிள்ளைகள்மேல் தேவகோபாக்கினை வருவதால், ஒருவனும் உங்களை வீண்வார்த்தைகளினாலே மோசம்போக்காதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்;
