அவர் வானத்தை மேகங்களால் மூடி, பூமிக்கு மழையை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி மலைகளில் புல்லை முளைப்பிக்கிறார்.

அவர் சத்தமிடுகையில் வானத்திலே திரளான தண்ணீர் உண்டாகிறது; அவர் பூமியின் கடையாந்தரத்திலிருந்து மேகங்களை எழும்பப்பண்ணி, மழையுடனே மின்னல்களை உண்டாக்கி, காற்றைத் தமது பண்டகசாலைகளிலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

நீங்கள் சுதந்தரிக்கப்போகிற தேசமோ, மலைகளும் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளுமுள்ள தேசம்; அது வானத்தின் மழைத் தண்ணீரைக் குடிக்கும் தேசம்;

புறஜாதிகளுடைய வீணான தேவர்களுக்குள் மழை வருஷிக்கப்பண்ணத்தக்கவர்கள் உண்டோ? அல்லது, வானங்கள் தானாய் மழைகளைக் கொடுக்குமோ? எங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தராயிருக்கிற நீரல்லவோ அதைச் செய்கிறவர்; ஆகையால் உமக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறோம்; தேவரீர் இவைகளையெல்லாம் உண்டுபண்ணினீர்.

பாழும் அந்தரவெளியுமான தரையைத் திருப்தியாக்கி இளம்பூண்டுகளின் முளைகளை முளைக்கப்பண்ணும்படி,

ஞானத்தினாலே கொடிமாசிகளை எண்ணுபவர் யார்?

தேவரீர் பூமியை விசாரித்து அதற்கு நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சுகிறீர்; தண்ணீர் நிறைந்த தேவநதியினால் அதை மிகவும் செழிப்பாக்குகிறீர்; இப்படி நீர் அதைத் திருத்தி, அவர்களுக்குத் தானியத்தை விளைவிக்கிறீர்.

தமது மேல்வீடுகளைத் தண்ணீர்களால் மச்சுப்பாவி, மேகங்களைத் தமது இரதமாக்கி, காற்றினுடைய செட்டைகளின்மேல் செல்லுகிறார்.

அவர் வானத்தில் தமது மேலறைகளைக் கட்டி, பூமியில் தமது கீழறைகளை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தி, சமுத்திரத்தின் தண்ணீர்களை வரவழைத்து, அவர்களைப் பூமியினுடைய விசாலத்தின்மேல் ஊற்றுகிறவர்; கர்த்தர் என்பது அவருடைய நாமம்.

இப்படிச் செய்வதினால் நீங்கள் பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற உங்கள் பரம பிதாவுக்கு புத்திரராயிருப்பீர்கள்; அவர் தீயோர் மேலும் நல்லோர் மேலும் தமது சூரியனை உதிக்கப்பண்ணி, நீதியுள்ளவர்கள் மேலும் அநீதியுள்ளவர்கள் மேலும் மழையைப் பெய்யப்பண்ணுகிறார்.

அவர் நன்மை செய்துவந்து, வானத்திலிருந்து மழைகளையும் செழிப்புள்ள காலங்களையும் நமக்குத் தந்து, ஆகாரத்தினாலும் சந்தோஷத்தினாலும் நம்முடைய இருதயங்களை நிரப்பி, இவ்விதமாய் அவர் தம்மைக்குறித்துச் சாட்சி விளங்கப்பண்ணாதிருந்ததில்லை என்றார்கள்.
