அவரே அதைக் கடல்களுக்குமேலாக அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்தி, அதை நதிகளுக்கு மேலாக ஸ்தாபித்தார்.

அவர் உத்தரமண்டலத்தை வெட்டவெளியிலே விரித்து, பூமியை அந்தரத்திலே தொங்கவைக்கிறார்.

கர்த்தர͠ராஜரிகம்பண்ணுகிறார், ஆகையால் பூச்சՠύகரம் அசையாதபடி உறுதிப்பட்டிருக்கும்; அவர் ஜனங்களை நிதானமாய் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார் என்று ஜாதிகளுக்குள்ளே சொல்லுங்கள்.

அவர் சொல்ல ஆகும் அவர் கட்டளையிட நிற்கும்.

தண்ணீர்களுக்கு மேலே பூமியைப் பரப்பினவரைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவர் கிருபை என்றுமுள்ளது.

ஒரு சந்ததி போகிறது, மறு சந்ததி வருகிறது; பூமியோ என்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.

கர்த்தருடைய நாள் இரவிலே திருடன் வருகிறவிதமாய் வரும்; அப்பொழுது வானங்கள் மடமட என்று அகன்றுபோம், பூதங்கள் வெந்து உருகிப்போம், பூமியும் அதிலுள்ள கிரியைகளுமெரிந்து அழிந்துபோம்.

வானமும் சுருட்டப்பட்ட புஸ்தகம்போலாகி விலகிப்போயிற்று; மலைகள் தீவுகள் யாவும் தங்கள் இடங்களைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோயின.

பின்பு, நான் பெரிய வெள்ளைச் சிங்காசனத்தையும் அதின்மேல் வீற்றிருக்கிறவரையும் கண்டேன்; அவருடைய சமுகத்திலிருந்து பூமியும் வானமும் அகன்றுபோயின; அவைகளுக்கு இடங்காணப்படவில்லை.

நான் பூமியை அஸ்திபாரப்படுத்துகிறபோது நீ எங்கே இருந்தாய்? நீ அறிவாளியானால் அதை அறிவி.

கர்த்தர் ராஜரிகம்பண்ணுகிறார்; மகத்துவத்தை அணிந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறார்; கர்த்தர் பராக்கிரமத்தை அணிந்து, அவர் அதைக் கச்சையாகக் கட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்; ஆதலால் பூச்சக்கரம் அசையாதபடி நிலைபெற்றிருக்கிறது.
