அவர்கள் கானான்தேசத்து விக்கிரகங்களுக்குப் பலியிட்டு, தங்கள் குமாரர் குமாரத்திகளுடைய குற்றமில்லாத இரத்தத்தை சிந்தினார்கள்; தேசம் இரத்தத்தால் தீட்டுப்பட்டது.
