அவர் தமது வசனத்தை அனுப்பி அவர்களைக் குணமாக்கி அவர்களை அழிவுக்குத் தப்புவிக்கிறார்.

இணை வசனம்

ஏசாயா பாதி முற்றத்தைவிட்டு அப்புறம் போகிறதற்குமுன்னே, கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை அவனுக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர் சொன்னது:

என் ஆத்துமா படுகுழியிலில் இறங்காதபடி, அவர் அதை இரட்சிப்பார்; ஆகையால் என் பிராணன் வெளிச்சத்தைக் காணும் என்று சொல்லுவான்.

அவர் தமது வார்த்தையைப் பூமியில் அனுப்புகிறார்; அவருடைய சொல் மகா தீவிரமாய்ச் செல்லுகிறது.

நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதி பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ஆண்டவரே! நீர் என் வீட்டுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்க நான் பாத்திரன் அல்ல; ஒரு வார்த்தை மாத்திரம் சொல்லும், அப்பொழுது என் வேலைக்காரன் சொஸ்தமாவான்.

அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ ஒரு கொள்ளிவாய்ச் சர்ப்பத்தின் உருவத்தைச் செய்து, அதை ஒரு கம்பத்தின்மேல் தூக்கிவை; கடிக்கப்பட்டவன் எவனோ அவன் அதை நோக்கிப்பார்த்தால் பிழைப்பான் என்றார்.

ஆயிரத்தில் ஒருவராகிய சாமாசிபண்ணுகிற தூதனானவர் மனுஷனுக்குத் தம்முடைய நிதானத்தை அறிவிக்கும்படிக்கு, அவனுக்கு அநுசாரியாயிருந்தாரேயாகில்,

என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன், என்னை நீர் குணமாக்கினீர்.

நான் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக ஜீவனுள்ளோருடைய வெளிச்சத்திலே நடக்கும்படி, நீர் என் ஆத்துமாவை மரணத்துக்கும் என் கால்களை இடறலுக்கும் தப்புவியாதிருப்பீரோ?

அவர் உன் அக்கிரமங்களையெல்லாம் மன்னித்து, உன் நோய்களையெல்லாம் குணமாக்கி,

இருதயம் நொறுங்குண்டவர்களைக் குணமாக்குகிறார், அவர்களுடைய காயங்களைக் கட்டுகிறார்.

அவர் தமது வார்த்தையை அனுப்பி, அவைகளை உருகப்பண்ணுகிறார்; தமது காற்றை வீசும்படி செய்ய தண்ணீர்கள் ஓடும்.

ஆனாலும் தேவன் என் ஆத்துமாவைப் பாதாளத்தின் வல்லமைக்குத் தப்புவித்து மீட்பார், அவர் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார். (சேலா.)
